Theatre Edition yeah, yeah, yeah

I cannot believe we have not done a theatre edition! Well, with them weird times, doing a full theatre edition is complicated.

Pam Farr Summer Shakespeare Studio

This is the final presentation of a three week Shakespeare summer intensive with teens between the ages of 14 and 17. Each year, this takes place at The Old Globe Theatre in San Diego for four weeks. This was a wonderful showing of video theatre with the kids all over the country and even one student from Madrid, Spain! Setting a high bar and proving that with creativity, anything can happen. To enjoy this performance please click HERE. You can also find it on The Old Globe´s YouTube channel.

Live from Lincoln Center: Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Carousel
The Center uploaded this almost a month ago and up until this post, it was still there so catch it while you can!
Carousel was hailed by Time Magazine as “the best musical of the 20th Century.“ The New York Philharmonic presents a stunning staged production of this iconic American work, featuring a star-studded cast including Kelli O’Hara, Nathan Gunn, Stephanie Blythe, Shuler Hensley, Jason Danieley, Jessie Mueller, Kate Burton, John Cullum and New York City Ballet dancers Robert Fairchild and Tiler Peck.

Broadway Bares: Zoom In
This wonderful fundraiser that takes place every year around this time, had to be postponed like everything else. Grab a cocktail and enjoy.

For my Spanish speakers: Mexicatas.
Next to Normal
This is one of my favorite shows ever! Lo he visto mil veces. Hasta he viajado para verlo. Me encanta. So, cruizing through YouTube I found this smuggled phone recording of the WHOLE performance in Los Angeles in 2013 and I just had to watch it. Cried just the same, and enjoyed it just the same. Man, I just hope this person was not bothering the people sitting next to them.

Margin of error (available until August 23)
LOVED this!
Wonderfully performed. This is from The Roustabouts Theatre Company in San Diego. Please consider supporting their wonderful work. We reviewed the show HERE
