Pepe Aguilar debuts at Segerstrom Center for the Arts

The Mexican singer is scheduled to perform July 9th

26 albums produced, 9 Grammy awards and a star in the Hollywood walk of fame, Pepe Aguilar is coming to Costa Mesa for two dates. With a solid fan base, Aguilar has been a beloved singer for the past three decades. Son of Antonio Aguilar, also a singer and master horse rider, and Guillermina Jiménez known as Flor Silvestre, also a singer and actress.

Pepe, has always had a strong, metal rock alter ego. Leather, electric guitar, sleeve tattoos and so on. A flare that flows in his albums, having a very unique sound as well as killer love ballads. His latest album 'No lo había dicho' (I had not said it) launched last month and gives us, a little more of Aguilar's style. "I waited a while to do an album like this, waited for that moment the universe was willing to help me. At this point in my career, it is not about pleasing anymore. It is about being in tune with everything that you are doing" shared the singer in his now famous 'vlog' a platform he started about six months ago, in which he uploads a new video each Thursday. "I made this album with three of my friends, being in the studio for a year. It is not a specific genre, we just played everything. I had not worked like that ever. All the songs are new and each one has been treated differently. Treated the way each one has demanded to be treated".

For the Costa Mesa engagement, Pepe will be playing at the Segerstrom Hall. Tickets start at 69 dollars and are on sale now. For more information click HERE

The renowned singer may have a new album out, a US tour and promotion; well let us say that is his 'day job' for lack of a better way of saying it. Pepe is also focused on his son Leonardo's singing career as well. The apple does not fall far from the tree. The Aguilar family is one made of artists, and we are very happy and proud to have them. Keep an eye out for his daughters Angela and Majo, because they are also hitting the music scene! You even might get a little cameo in next week's concert.

In the meantime, here is Pepe's first single 'María' (pop version) a video shot with 7 cameras in 360. A new experiment for the also composer. AND, the first video in 360 for a Latin singer. That's right...
