My interview with Luna Vélez

The talented actress with Puerto Rican roots, gives us a glimpse of her time in San Diego and her latest projects

I had the opportunity and fortune to sit down and chat with the actress Luna Vélez, as she is working in San Diego on the play Picasso at the Lapine Agile, written by Steve Martin and Directed by The Old Globe's Artistic Director, Barry Edelstein.

Germaine was not easy to get into. Acting wise and physically wise...she wears a mean corset and does not leave the stage.

I divided our interview in two parts. In part 1, we discuss her journey into the play and a very special reason why she chose to be in it...

PART 2:
In this second part, when we started talking about being in San Diego and her name Lauren, I just let loose and asked her about my fellow Mexican actress Karla Souza being that Luna, worked in How to get away with Murder. Everything flows from there in a great and sweet way just as Luna is.

Note: I wanted to share with you clips of Luna's movie Adrift and part of her other project They call me la Lupe, the videos are shaky because of the transfer. Bear with me please...I can assure you I tried.
